Aid to Sudan – Tracey Stith, Rita Davis and Derek Redmond were in attendance at the awards breakfast of the Conference of Local Bar Associations. The Richmond Chapter of the ODBA was awarded an Award of Merit for organizing the Lost Boys of Sudan project. The Lost Boys of Sudan project was a fundraiser organized to raise money to help the relief effort in Southern Sudan. Tracey Stith and Derek Redmond are pictured accepting the award on behalf of the organization.

Justice Leroy Hassell – Attended the June meeting of the Richmond Chapter of the ODBA. Justice Hassell commented on the value of the ODBA to the community and its members and encouraged the membership to participate in the many initiatives that the Chief Justice has commissioned to advance the courts and the legal profession in Virginia.
