Please join us in acknowledging the accomplishments of the following members:
In August 2005, Tracey Stith was promoted to Chief of
Civil Investigations for the newly created Medicaid Fraud Control Unit
(MFCU) for the Office of the Virginia Attorney General. As Chief of the
Civil Investigations Team, Tracey supervises a staff of four whose
primary focus is the civil prosecution of Qui Tam (whistleblower) cases
filed in federal courts throughout the United States and Virginia Fraud
against Taxpayers Act cases filed in circuit courts in the
Commonwealth. Persecution of Qui tam and affirmative civil enforcement
case settlements are expected to return millions of dollars to the
Virginia Medicaid program.
On November 8, 2005 two members of the Richmond Chapter
were elected to office.
Jennifer L. McClellan was elected to the
71st district seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.
