Oliver W. Hill-Samuel W. Tucker Scholarship
Dinner
The ODBA's flagship program is the Oliver W. Hill-Samuel W. Tucker
Scholarship dinner. For the last five years, the ODBA has provided
scholarships to first year law school students enrolled in law school
across the Commonwealth and Howard University. In honor of the scholarship
recipients and Messrs. Hill and Tucker, the ODBA and the Greater Richmond
Bar Foundation sponsors a dinner every year in Richmond, Virginia. The
scholarship dinner, which is attended by members of the business
community, law school faculty, lawyers, judges, politicians and community
leaders, also features a prominent speaker from the legal community, music
and entertainment.
This event is scheduled for Wednesday,
October 24, 2007 at the Omni Richmond Hotel, 100 South 12th Street,
Richmond, Virginia 23219 at 7:00 p.m. Our theme for this year’s
dinner is “The Next Hundred
Years.” Our guest speaker is The Honorable Viola O. Baskerville,
Secretary of Administration for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

to know their mentees on a personal level and forage relationships that
will
grow with the development of both the mentor's and mentee's career. If you
